end of summer news!

Summer is almost over!!! But the season of fiddle camps is NOT...still have Valley of the Moon and the very first Stringmania! (in Australia, hosted by our wonderful friends the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club) to look forward to! Alasdair and I will recommence our normal touring schedule with concerts in Australia and throughout the US. I am also thrilled to be joining pals Nic Gareiss, Cleek Schrey, and Yann Falquet for a residency in November working on some new music, and to be rejoining the cast of A Christmas Celtic Sojourn in December.

Also, I have officially rejoined the faculty of Berklee College of Music -- our string department is pretty kick-ass, and it's an honor to be working alongside many of my musical heroes. In addition to teaching and playing, upcoming projects include writing some cello etudes for an 'alternative styles' cello etude book compiled by multi-genre cellist Mike Block, and finishing work on Alasdair's and my new album, to be released later this fall!

Hope to see you on the road!
